OVERVIEW
This course is designed for all levels of Cerec 3D users. With consistent
changes in Cerec software, it is vital to remain informed. You will
be given the information needed to keep up to date with the latest
techniques and software.
OBJECTIVES
Topics of discussion will include:
• Efficient use of your new Cerec 3 software and Cerec quadrant
dentistry.
• Up- to- date tips for maximizing your Cerec 3D potential.
• Case selection, prep design, antagonist, correlation, Form
tool, Drop tool, TriLuxe blocks, Veneer database, Veneer replication.
• Integration of Cerec 3D into the private practice, staff
delegation, implant crowns, occlusal analysis.
• Recognizing occlusal problems and solutions.
• In the latter portion of the day there will be an opportunity
for a question and answer session.
PRESENTER
JACOB G. PARK, D.D.S., earned his dental degree at The University
of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1993. He is a Clinical
Associate Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at
The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. In
addition, as an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of
Cellular and Structural Biology in the Graduate School of Biomedical
Science at the Health Science Center, Dr. Park is an instructor
of the TMJ section of Gross Anatomy.
Dr. Park maintains a private practice in San Antonio, Texas, and
has a special emphasis occlusion oriented esthetic and Cerec 3D
dentistry. He has been using Cerec 3 since May of 2001 in his private
practice. Dr. Park is the Cerec 3D Training Course Director for
the Dental School and is an International Society of Computerized
Dentistry (ISCD) Certified International Cerec CAD CAM System Trainer.
Dr. Park's current research interest is the application of CAD
CAM technology to restorative procedures to reduce the invasive
preparations. He is a mentor in the Clinical Research Foundation
of Dr. Terry T. Tanaka of the University of Southern California
Dental School. Dr. Park has studied the occlusion and management
of TMD extensively under the direction of Dr. Jose dos Santos and
Dr. Terry T. Tanaka. He holds a Fellowship in the Academy of Dentistry
International and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
