Dental Hygiene Implant Certification Course

OVERVIEW
This is a comprehensive program that will provide an informative overview of dental implantology. This course covers surgical, prosthetic and maintenance considerations, as well as treatment planning skill for the dental hygienist.

The course fulfills curriculum guidelines for oral implantology in dental hygiene education developed by The Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries and Practice Management (ADIA & PM). It is also an excellent internal marketing program for your entire team!

Tuition includes ADIA & PM membership and a course certificate from ADIA & PM. A certificate of completion will also be given to dental hygienists.

OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this course, the dental hygienists will learn:
• The surgical, prosthetic, and maintenance considerations of dental implantology.
• The develop treatment planning skills.
• The skills in dental implantology to earn a certificate of completion.

PRESENTERS
ROLAND M. MEFFERT, D.D.S.
, received his dental degree from Marquette University in 1955 and certificates in Periodontics from the University of Dental Branch, Houston, Texas in 1961 and Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center, Lackland AFB, Texas in 1962. He has had an illustrious career in Periodontics and Academics at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and Louisiana State University. He currently serves as a Consultant to the Office of Continuing Dental Education at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

LYNN D. MORTILLA, R.D.H., received her degree from State University of New York at Farmingdale in 1993. Lynn currently lives in Palm Harbor, Florida where she maintains a private clinical practice. Lynn is currently the Executive Director of the ADIA & PM and has received her Fellowship status. She lectures and publishes nationally on dental implants and maintenance.
