The group rates will be offered from Tuesday, February 13, 2007 through Sunday, February 18, 2007.

Ski and Learn Participants can make their ground transportation reservations online and receive a $4 discount on round trip service to and from the Hayden airport, and $14 off round trip service between Denver International Airport and Steamboat Springs.

Please note that the room reservation cut-off date is January 14, 2007. Reservation requests after January 14, 2007, will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis. This course is scheduled during peak tourist season so make your reservations early. An additional fee of $50.00 per dentist or dental team member will be assessed to course attendees not staying at the Sheraton Steamboat Resort.

SKI AND LEARN REFUND POLICY

If you must cancel your registration, please notify the Office of Continuing Dental Education as soon as you determine you are unable to attend so that a refund may be considered. Due to commitments to off-site properties, any cancellation made prior to January 1, 2007 will be subject to an administrative fee assessment of $132.00. Any cancellation made after that date does not qualify for a refund. However, participants may choose to place their tuition minus an administrative and direct cost fee assessment into a holding account for future use. No Shows will not qualify for refunds. Written notification is required within five business days by mail, fax, or e-mail to initiate the refund process. Please allow four to six weeks for all refunds.

3. BEST Reserve your Sheraton Steamboat room and register for the course in full before October 26, 2006 and receive an additional $10.00 off the tuition fee. (Your registration fee will be $425.00)

Contemporary Pediatric Restorative Dentistry
• The participant will have an understanding of the clinical utilization of traditional, pho topolymerized glass ionomer cements and compomers, including indications and contraindications.
• The participant will see the available fluoride-releasing restorative materials marketed today and understand their ability to inhibit primary and secondary caries, as well as remineralize incipient carious lesions.


PRESENTERS

Kevin J. Donly, D.D.S., M.S.graduated from the University of Iowa, College of Dentistry in 1984. In 1986 he received his Master’s Degree in Oral Science and Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Iowa, College of Dentistry. He is currently Professor and Chairman of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.

Adriana Segura, D.D.S., M.S., graduated in 1990 from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. She completed a General Practice Residency program in 1991 from Miami Veterans Hospital in Florida. Dr. Segura received her Certificate and Masters Degree in Pediatric Dentistry in 1993 from the University of Iowa. She is currently the Predoctoral Director for the Department of Pediatric Dentistry and Director of the Ricardo Salinas Clinic at UTHSCSA.

Nelson Rhodus, D.M.D., M.P.H., is the Distinguished Professor and Director of the, Division of Oral Medicine, Oral Diagnosis and Oral and is Maxillofacial Radiology in the Department of Diagnostic and Surgical Sciences at the, University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Medicine.
