Diagnosis and Comprehensive
Management of Aggressive Periodontitis Patient

Format
One day a month a speaker discusses a dental topic during lunch. The sessions are informal and the group has an opportunity to interact with the speaker during a short discussion period at the end of the lecture. It requires only about one and one-half hour of your time to learn the latest developments in many areas of dentistry. It also offers the opportunity to get better acquainted with your colleagues and their staff since all dental allied personnel and technicians are also invited to attend.

OVERVIEW
This program will provide a general overview of aggressive periodontitis, its epidemiology, and address current and historic disease trends and treatments. Information will include diagnosis, comprehensive management, and treatment of periodontal diseases in children and adult patients. Participants will learn the role of implant therapy and how to incorporate it in the management of aggressive periodontitis patients.

Objectives
Participants will be able to:
• Provide a good overview on aggressive periodontitis and its complications
• Discuss previous and current concepts in the etiology of this disease
• Assist clinicians and patient care staff in understanding the disease trends
• Provide relevant guidelines in the management of patients with aggressive periodontitis

Presenter
John C. Aniemeke, D.D.S., M.S.
Dr. John C. Aniemeke is a diplomate of The American Board of Periodontology. He is a graduate of University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, Texas in May 2009 with a D.D.S. He received his specialty training also at the UTHSCSA, School of Dentistry where he obtained a combined Certificate of specialization in Periodontics and Oral Implantology and a Master of Science Degree at the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. He currently maintains a private practice and lectures both nationally and internationally.
