A Novel, Comprehensive Approach to TMJD
and Headache Management

One day a month a speaker discusses a dental topic during lunch. The sessions are informal and the group has an opportunity to interact with the speaker during the short discussion period at the end of the lecture. It requires only about one and one-half hour of your time to learn the latest developments in many areas of dentistry. It also offers the opportunity to become better acquainted with your colleagues and their staff since all dental allied personnel and technicians are also invited to attend.

Temporomandibular disorder is a complex condition with many etiologies, symptoms, and treatment modalities. There is no “one size fits all” treatment for patients. There are many “band aids” to manage TMJD, but few of them get to the bottom of the disease. Dr. Perry has developed a comprehensive approach to evaluation, management and ultimate treatment of most TMJD conditions, focusing on muscle rehabilitation prior to definitive dental correction and joint stabilization.

• An understanding of the anatomy and function of the TMJ.
• An understanding of normal occlusion function.
• An understanding of the natural and iatrogenic etiologies of Temporomandibular disorder.
• An understanding of the “Perry 3D Protocol” of TMJD therapy.
